PLC Programmer (m/f/d) for approximately 38 hours per week

As a technical partner for automation components and solutions, the Lüdenscheid-based family-owned company Pressluft Klefinghaus GmbH has been operating successfully in the market for more than 80 years. Its product range includes electric and pneumatic actuators from Festo, item aluminum profiles and accessories, compressed air generation and treatment systems from Boge, piping systems, and energy consulting. In addition, the company has a compressor service team and a control systems division specializing in PLCs (Siemens S7), as well as pneumatic and electropneumatic control systems.

What You'll Be Doing Here:

  • You will program the control systems in coordination with electrical project management and project managers/design engineers from the mechanical design department.
  • You will create visualizations and evaluations of safety machine control systems using SISTEMA.
  • You will assist in organizing standardization processes.
  • You will support internal control cabinet testing by conducting functional tests on control systems and assist with electrical design and electrical procurement.
  • You will be responsible for commissioning the control systems and frequency converters at the customer’s site and will participate in the preparation of technical documentation, such as operating manuals.
  • You will assist in the preparation of hazard analyses and risk assessments in accordance with applicable standards and CE directives.
  • Remote maintenance of construction sites, customer support, and software testing are also part of your diverse range of responsibilities.

What Convinces Us:

  • You have completed technical training or a college degree with a focus on electrical engineering or automation technology.
  • You have already gained professional experience in automation, preferably in the field of machine or plant engineering.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, and STEP 7, as well as experience in commissioning frequency converters.
  • You have a basic understanding of EPLAN P8.
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office round out your profile.
